In my news today!

Good news! I was formally asked, by letter, to be a member of the Community College Honor Society. EAT YOUR HEART OUT, BABY! I was so honored and thrilled yesterday that I was literally bouncing up and down in the living room. Not only does this make me eligible for gazillions of transfer scholarships but it also will give the privilege of wearing the blue and orange ribbon -- that officially says "I am nerd". BUT! I like being the nerd because I was just "Miss GPA 1.9" in highschool. *sad face*

In other news -- Curt's Post Op appointment at John's Hopkins was today. The doctor said he is healing tremendously well and is looking good to begin his travels on the road to Chemo! Next up -- the appointment with the oncologist who will then determine Curt's special cocktail and the details and demands of Chemo Camp. During the appointment today lots of good questions were answered -- and a chart was drawn to show Holly (and me and the rest of the curious world), "what exactly they did to his insides anyway?" I'm hoping to either scan the drawing and post or I'll have to recreate it from memory because IT'S SO COOL!

Going beyond -- Eric is in Vegas for a convention. Being home alone is both exciting and scary! On one hand I do like having his lump of a body out of the bed so I can stretch out guilt free -- on the other -- I miss his lump! Also, I am not sure how much conventioning they'll be doing. Probably not much, knowing the group of goons that are going, but the important thing is that Lady's cute so I can probably sell her for enough money to pay the mortgage if he blows our bill money.

Oh shut up I'm just kidding.
