Oh me oh my!

Ok here goes.

I got laid off today at 11am. My position has been eliminated effective June 15th, 2007. While it's not completely a surprise I find myself freaked out by the fact that for the first time in 6 and one half years, I'll be in a new job. A new job with new people. Doing new things! It's half exciting and half -- woah!

I just took my last final of the semester and I fear that I did poorly on it. I'm not happy about it. I just pray that I get at least a C in the class so that I don't have to cry myself to sleep for the next 3 months or until school starts again. With all of today's happenings I just did not have the frame of mind for hard core studying. That's what I get for procrastinating!

Our trip to Mexico is a mere 8 days away and I cannot tell you how fucking happy I am that we're going. I couldn't have timed this vacation better! Between the Avon walk, school, and the new job situation I definitely need the time away. And I don't just mean a quick jaunt to Texas either! I mean an out of the country, no cell phones, foreign money, no habla Ingles type of vacation. BRING_ON_THE_TEQUILA! (Now if only my passport would get here....)
