Oh Joy

There is NOTHING like winding down at a job, on the verge of unemployment, and then you find out your car is going to cost $1700.00 to get fixed. Oh happy joy joy fuck.

I realize my car is not the sexiest vehicle on the road. I've never actually owned a sexy vehicle. Being that this is a large amount of money to spend on fixing a beater (1998 Sonata) we discussed me possibly getting a new car. Doesn't really make much sense at this time. The engine is fine. It's the fixtures that hold the wheels on the car are not. So! We fix the car and we move on. I'm no more wild about having a $300/month car payment then I am about paying $1700.00 to fix my hoopty. I am also more interested in buying a home in the next 2 years which would be a lot easier if I wasn't adding to my personal debt with a new ride. Feel me?
