Unemployment: Day 2

Today has been a big one so far!

8:30 am I woke up and got ready to go to a local Farmers Market. I picked up my friend Lauren and we made two stops along the way. First was to my brothers to pick up my much loved veggie tray that I accidentally left over that during our Fathers Day BBQ. My brothers house tends to be the ultimate black hole. You leave anything there and you'll NEVER see it again. The next stop was to the Thrift Store where Lauren and I got rid of 8 bags of give-aways. That felt SO GOOD!

At the farmers market I got blue berries, cherries, fresh tomatoes and some free range pork sausage. Yummy! Lauren picked up a bunch of stuff including some fried green tomatoes which we're going to cook up for lunch tomorrow.

After I dropped off Lauren I stopped by my OLD OFFICE to drop off my parking pass. It was nice to see them but nice to know that I wasn't there to work. (Although I did walk directly over to the fax machine to see what had come in -- which was habit!)

Today the carpet cleaners are coming at 2:30pm. I came home and moved all the movable furniture and also did a very thorough vacuuming round. I'm hoping the carpet guys get here soon because I'm meeting up with my friend Angela and her new baby (and her 2 year old) at my Moms afterwards. Although today has been mega busy and it's only 1:15 it's felt SO GREAT to be able to get so much done!
