Speeding Ticket

Yesterday I got my first adult speeding ticket. I had 2 others when I was under 18 and so I don't count those. I can't even remember at this point what the circumstances were surrounding those two tickets. And I think one of those I received on base and back then if you got a ticket on base it wasn't reported to your insurance company, only your Dads boss.

There is this road (South Van Dorn Street) that goes between my house and Holly's house, and I take it in the morning to work too. Well the speed limit is 25 and it's DUMB. It's dumb but I still obey the signs for the most part and go the speed limit. For some reason yesterday I wasn't paying attention to my speed and sure enough a speed trap was set up for me. Nice! I got busted going 38 in a 25. My fine is $61 + $5 for every mile over the speed limit. None of this bothers me except the thought that my A+ driving record will be tarnished and I will probably have an adjustment to my insurance rates. Drat!
