A Sunny Weekend

It was a wonderful warm and sunny weekend! It was a great weekend to get some yard work done. The flowers are all blooming and the birds are chirping. Seriously -- it's great. On Saturday Eric chipped away at getting rid of the mulch pile that has been rotting in our back yard since before we moved in. I mowed the front and the back and trimmed the bushes in the back. Sunday Eric trimmed the bushes in the front while I raked.

So many of the bushes and trees are starting to bloom and our yard is becoming a rainbow of colors. This next week will probably be the most colorful our yard will get all year! I started taking some pictures this weekend but I plan on posting more in the days to come!
