It's been 3 years this spring since Eric and I went on our honeymoon. Since then we've traveled a lot but nothing compares to the week in Mexico -- under the hot sun with drinks, good food and no agenda! Last year we promised that after the house was done we'd take a good, relaxing vacation. So we're planning on reliving our honeymoon and going away for a week to an adults only resort and we can't wait. Thankfully we have 2 sets of local grandparents anxious to take care of Carly and I have decided that I will finish breast feeding in late spring.
**This breast feeding thing is the only kink in our plans since I'm not anxious to stop, but I realize that I can't breast feed Carly forever. I DO want this vacation and Eric MORE than deserves a vacation after all the remodeling he's done. Besides, nine months is a good chunk of breastfeeding time. That being said, I guess there's not a lot stopping me from bringing my pump to keep the well from going dry......**
Moving away from my breasts - our trusty travel agent gave us a handful of options that met our needs (all inclusive, adults only, swim up suite, spa...) and now we just need to choose. IT'S SO HARD! By process of elimination we are down to 2 Mexican resorts. One is the resort we stayed in for our Honeymoon, El Dorado Royale. The other is a nice resort in the same area, Excellence Riviera. Tomorrow I'm weighing the pros and cons of both to make sure we get the best vacation ever!
