Post Birthday Post!

Hello All:

The Birthday was a hit. We had happy hour at Indigo Landing, with some friends. I'm sorry to say that we didn't take pictures -- but we tried! There was a big effort to bring "stuff" from the house, to the happy hour, and the camera got left behind. Never the less it was a great turn out and I LOVE THAT BAR! I think that's a song.

The morning of my birthday my husband woke me up with breakfast in bed, roses, and a card. A card that read "To My Wife" *sigh*. Breakfast: Bacon, Egg & Cheese, on an Everything Bagel, and a large coffee -- all from Dunkin Doughnuts. This is my favorite breakfast.

Thanks to all who gave birthday gifts. Totally unnecessary but much loved. I will be beautifully accessorized & with lovely nails in no time!

After going back to sleep for a few hours we took off on our camping trip of fun, stopping along the way to eat at a Mexican Restaurant. Yummy! We got to the campsite at 3:30, a mere 3 and a half hours late! We pretty much unloaded and then put on our suits and went on a Canoe trip down (well, up, then down) the Shenandoah River, for two and a half hours. On the trip we saw 2 BIG fish, turtles, little fish, snails, dinolings, and strange waterbirds. I did not fall in the water once -- until the very end. Oh joy! River hair!

The trip was fun and I did NOT have to poop in the woods which is always a plus!
