Tickle and lickle

Holly & I went to a House Party on Saturday night. It wasn't a "house party" with a keg and rap music playing -- it was more of a shopping party at a friends house. Our friend Deb is a Silpada sales person - she sells jewelry. Part of her job as a Silpada sales person is that she has parties where people can eat and mingle and buy her jewelry. Deb has other friends who do the same thing, they sell, but they sell other merchandise. Deb converted her house in to a mini mall with vendors taking up every room in the main level of her beautiful home.

Holly and I thought this would be a great opportunity to get in some early Christmas shopping (for ourselves).

These were the companies who attended:

Home Interiors -- home design collection
Silpada Designs -- Jewelry
Tastefully Simple - Food Prep
Arbonne - skin care
Private Quarters -- Spa, bedding, and robes, slippers, etc.
Giggles & Moans -- Adult toys

I bought a necklace from Silpada, some "Desperate Housewives" dish gloves from Private Quarters, and booked a party at Giggles & Moans, for which I earned free gifts. Oh! And I also won the door prize of the evening -- which was more Giggles & Moans products. So fun!

I brought my little goodie bag home to share with the husband. I won't go in to details on all the items I received but some of them tasted good, some of them were meant for application, and some of the items needed batteries. Nuff said.

My favorite stuff is this chocolate smelling powder that you sprinkle on with a light feather (product comes with one soft white feather). It smelled so good I wanted to snort it... and it tasted good too. I can't remember what it's called but it was something like "Tickle and Lickle".....whatever. The point is that aside from having the chocolate powder all over my chin (not sexy) and the fact that I woke up sticky and with sheet lint stuck to my everywhere (not sexy), it was guuuuuuuud stuff!

I'm excited about throwing a "passion party" for all my close girlfriends so I can pass on the word about the tickle and lickle. In the mean time -- check out the website if you'd like to have a party yourself!
