Last night was Deep Water work out night! I accidentally missed last week. In the frenzy of finals I thought my Deep Water Work out class started at 7:30pm (the start time for my night school classes) instead of 6:30pm. Getting there an hour late was such a disappointment for me especially after I saw my class working out on noodles, something I'd not experienced yet. Drat!
Noodles..... are we all familiar with what these little floaties are? If not go here.
Toward the end of the class session the teacher hands each of us a noodle. We do a series of exercises, mostly to work out the legs. The noodle vets, as I'm now calling them, are mega coordinated with their noodle. No weaving and bobbing for them! These senior citizens are freakin noodle pros! At one point the teacher tells us to stand on our noodle with both feet and do the twist (just like the dance move). I'm desperately trying to stay perched on my noodle. Desperately. Bobbing and weaving. Flailing and cursing under my breath. After maybe 30 seconds of being coached by other classmates, and my teacher, my noodle slips out from under my feet and shoots, like a rocket, up up up up in to the air -- landing with a loud "THWACK!" on to the surface of the pool. Nice! Laugher erupted. Blushing, I snagged my stupid noodle thing and placed it back under my feet -- trying to zen myself back in to the world of exercise.

You're more calm than me, I woulda thrown that noodle outta the pool a long time ago!
We use those noodles to cover the pulley wires on our dirtbike trailer doors! Cut a huge slit down them, stick them on, and no one trips over the wire anymore! Love those noodles!!
You should have practiced more with Gabby in the pool. You know we have a hundred of those things in every color!
