Nudist

Carly plays at my Moms in the little kiddie pool all nude and European. So now that I've tried to pt her in a bathing suit at our house when we have friends over she's totally confused. She wants me to take off her "dress" and her diaper before she gets in. It breaks my heart because for one thing those swim diapers aren't cheap and for another -- I don't want to stunt her freedom. I grew up in Europe so wandering around nude at a pool (even though I did not participate) is no shock to me. But Carly can't take swim lessons nude. Or go to a public pool nude. So we have to get her used to it.

Yesterday we took a last minute spontaneous trip to the beach house. She swam nude at the house in her kiddie pool but successfully wore a suit at the beach! She looked SO CUTE! I know Dad got pictures and I will share soon. The bathing suit Mom picked out for her down there is pink with palm trees and ruffles. Way cute!

My nudest is turning in to a little American toddler!
