Weekend Without Daddy

This weekend Eric has had to work every day and very late in to the night. Last night he worked unntil 1pm. So Carly and I have had a lot of one-on-one time. It's been fun! Yesterday we had a 10am playdate with Orlando Thames and Cecilia Lingafelt in our basement. Then we went to the grocery store and loaded up on fruits, veggies and yogurt for Carly. Then we had lunch and hit TJ Max. After that we hung with the BFF neighbor and took a wagon ride to the park. The kids played hard and ran off all thier extra energy. I went to be seriously early.

Today we're hooking back up with BFF neighbors and we'll probably take another wagon ride and possibly go to the indoor soft play room at the local rec center. It's only $2 to go and it's great for dreary days.

While I've had a lot of fun with Carly all by myself i'm looking forward to having my 2nd set of hands back. That being said -- what will adding another kid to our family do? How will my two hands handle weekends like this. See these are the kinds of thoughts that leave me asking, "am I crazy for wanting two kids?" and then I say, "How the hell did my Mom deal with 3 kids?" And then I want to wake my grandmother from the dead and ask her in a very serious way -- "why? Why 8 kids?"
