Happy Easter

For Easter Weekend Eric and I did our own version of Easter Camp. We were going to go to Easter Camp with Deannie & Dean, like we did last year, but there just wasn't enough time due to work schedules. Our version was just as fun.

Friday night

Drove (in Easter Traffice) to The Wilderness Presidential Resort where Eric's brother's family has a super fancy camper. Had a fire and drank a few brewskies!

Saturday

Slept in until 10:30 (Yay!) and realized there was about 1 inch of snow on the ground. Where did that come from? We then got up and made breakfast in the camper. After that we sat around and watched a movie and I also thumbed through some magazines.

Next I showered at the community shower place. It sounds like it'd be filled with spiders and cold but it was actually a really nice shower. I took my Aveda shampoo,closed my eyes, and dreamt my self in to a Spa.

Later that afternoon we drove about 3o miunutes to a local winery. I wanted to pick up a bottle of something good for Eric's brother and his wife for letting us stay at thier camper for the weekend. We really needed the time away.

Saturday night Eric and I made campers meals (potatoes, corn, ground beef, peas, etc. all in tin foil and cooked over a camp fire) and finished the night off playing cards and drinking beer.

Sunday

Sunday morning Eric woke me up at 8:30am and I was mad as hell. I didn't talk to him for an hour. He was SO ANNOYING and I was so tired! Once I got over myself, and the camper was clean, we drove to get some breakfast on our way out of town.

Easter afternoon was spent with the Jones family! One of my favorite times of the year with them, actually.
