Last night I stayed up until 3am reading this book I can't get my nose out of. It's called, More Than Friends by Barbara Delinsky. I don't know if it's the book that I can't get enough of or if I'm just so relaxed, with this time off from work, that I'm comfortable reading for hours on end. I'm a good reader but normally not like this. Any how -- if you're looking for a good pool book you can pick this one up at the CVS, or local book store, for just a few bucks.
Today Lady and I got up at 11am. (No doggy pee in the bed!) We went on a medium sized walk and then I made lunch (tuna salad w/left over Famous Dave's baked beans). I'm heading over to Holly's shortly so we can get in some pool time before the end of the day. The weather is sunny and in the 80's. Not too hot to sun bathe.
Other than that I think Eric and I are going to watch Vacation tonight and maybe grill out. I also might go get my nails done with Jen & Lauren but that is all based on timing. I'm not doing anything stressful today.
The weekend weather is supposed to be great. Tomorrow Eric and I are taking an adventure to Maryland to hit a music store and also to drop off his car at the auto body shop. (Minor bang up with a truck....) We were also invited to hang out with my Hair Goddess and her hubby for a BBQ. We are going to try and fit that in too.
My laptop battery is running low and I have a sudden urge for a smoke. More on the life of the unemployed tomorrow!
