Saturday morning I woke up pretty hung over from playing Riffs with Eric until late in the night. Eric had to get up early to do some handy work at his grandma's (ha!) and I got to sleep in until 10:30am. Around 11am Brodie and Holly sent me a text message to see if they could come by. OF COURSE THEY CAN COME BY! I rolled out of bed (literally) to answer the door without even washing my face or brushing my teeth. Good thing they love me!
Later on we got a call from another couple of friends of ours - Carrie and her almost 3 year old Fiona. We invited them to come by and before you knew it I was hosting my very own toddler play date! It was a success and they had so much fun that they both left for home crying! I'd like to think that they were crying because they had so much fun they just couldn't stand to leave --but the mothers kept mumbling something about about "nap time".
