Fritz

My cell phone is on the fritz. Eric and I were both due for phone upgrades from Verizon and I was so excited to go look for a new phone! There really isn't anything more fun, is there? (Ok, maybe being pregnant!) Anyway -- Tuesday we went to the Verizon store and it was actually a ghost town. As you can imagine most everyone in the National Captiol area was either on the mall freezing thier arses off watching the anuguration or home, scared to death of the impending traffice due to the swearing-in ceremony. Regardless -- an empty Verizon store is just never heard of in these parts.

After 30 or so minutes (on Eric's part -- I made my decision in like 2 minutes) of looking for the right phone we approached a sales associate who informed us that we could only get our phones upgraded one at a time. And Eric was up first. Fuck! Right? So lucky Eric got the line-less Verizon expirience AND a new fancy phone -- the DARE!

My upgrade comes on March 17th....boo hiss!
