Latest and Greatest

I feel bad because I've been SO ignoring this blog and working mainly on our baby blog. It's not because I don't love "Keeping Up With The Joneses" but the baby is our focus right now! So, to that end, make sure you check out our baby blog www.thepeainourpod.blogspot.com for the latest on baby.

In other news - - we had a very successful dinner party last Saturday night at our house! I was proud of myself for cooking for 8 people and staying sane! I made my chicken enchiladas. They were good, I guess, but I used a slightly different ingredient this time which in my opinion made them tasteless compared to past chicken enchilada dishes. It wasn't just me and my changing taste buds either -- Eric agreed they weren't as good. Luckily, the other guests seemed pleased and ate their dinner, some even taking home left overs!

At the dinner party we got to show of our new kitchen island! It's the latest addition to our new home -(well, actually our new HAMSTER is the newEST addition - but more on that later). The new kitchen island was the hit of the night - which warmed the cocles of Eric's heart since he was instantly inspired when he saw it in the store and practically bought it on the spot.
