Henna

My good friend, and work buddy, Monica is getting married this weekend! They are having an Indian/American fusion wedding. Monica is Indian, yet born in America and Jarrett is just plain ole American. So............there is your fusion.........anyway......part of the Indian tradition is decorating your hands (or where ever) with henna. The bridesmaids had the option of doing it too. I'm not really a brides maid -- I think of my self as "The Helper". I help, therefore, I get to henna. Check out the pictures!

Picture #1 is of what it looked like just after the henna was applied. It dries like a face mask would and then basically crumbles off after about 30 minutes. When it first crumbled off I was a little disappointed because it was a light pumpkin color. Then I went to bed....and
