Yes, folks, we are still walking! We got cute, yet not at all warm, walking outfits last night. There we were -- all pathetically adorable in our warm-up suits, coffee, tennis shoes and cute dog -- rapidly pacing through Cameron Station -- FREEZING OUR ASSES OFF! My chin was so numb I had a hard time talking. Eric's nose was really red and his fingers were numb. 33ish degrees it was when we left this morning. Back go the cute walking outfits we got at Target. The pants we got, they "breath", or in other words they allow lots of cold air to flow through the holes.
Last night we hit Tyson's Corner. The shopping wonder of the world. The traffic cluster fuck of Northern Virginia. I avoid that area at all costs but we HAD to go there last night. Unfortunately, Tysons Corner holds all the foo-foo stores that are not in any other area mall: Bloomingdale's, Niemen Marcus, Tiffany's...etc. So for us it was a wedding gift return one-stop-shop. We hit: Bloomingdale's, William Sonoma, Crate & Barrel, Bed Bath & Beyond & eventually - Target. We now have more room to walk in the kitchen.
Leaving now for the Social Security Office!!! Pray for NO LINES!

Oh you poor thing!! The social security office SUCKED when I had to do it. It made DMV look like it was run like a well oiled machine and staffed with Mensa memebers. Hopefully it was just the office I went to and you'll be in and out- Good luck!!
jz
Have no fear! I'm socially secure and the wait was only 45 minutes! I guess it paid off to go right as the doors opened??? I found out you can also make an appointment.
Gosh, I love Tyson's Corner! I'd say the traffic was worth it, as long as I'm not in it every single day. You have a point on that one!!!
The Social Security Office is a sit and wait forever game. Wish I had better news for ya!
