Saturday night Eric and I were invited to a lovely dinner party with our friends Jere & Andrew. This lovely couple just bought thier first home - a condo deep in the heart of our Nations Capitol. It's a charming little abode and we had a blast. The food was TO DIE FOR (especially the refried beans -- recipe available for those who want it) and the company was even better.
After dinner we played two games: The New Yorker Caption Cartoon Game and Apples to Apples (my favorite). IT was much fun and we look forward to hosting Jere and Andrew at our house next time!
After the dinner party Eric and I went home with our boardgame high in tow and played Riffs until 2am. Of course, as a result I woke up soarly hung over and ragged for my 8am social engagement.
