This condo crap is SO ANNOYING I COULD PULL MY FREAKIN HAIR OUT (or cry)!

The story:

So a Broker set up my Buyer with a Lender (Lender #1). Lender #1 was taking way long to get the loan approval so eventually the Broker passed the loan on to another Lender (Lender #2).

Lender #2 is doing the same thing - asking for oodles of paperwork and taking it's time with the loan approval. Meanwhile the OFFICIAL closing date was Feb. 15th. Lender #2 was not clear with our agent today on when the loan approval will come through. Lender #2 did say "possibly Thursday" they'll know when they can go to closing.

Meanwhile It's been 2 weeks since the OFFICIAL closing date and we have no new closing date. Now I'm going to have to pay another month of my mortgage come Friday.

The sad truth is that we have no real confirmation that he will ever get approved. Ever. I realize now that because all we have is a verbal confirmation (from two different lenders), we have nothing! So how long am I supposed to let this go on? To make matters more heart wrenching, as long as we're under contract with this Buyer - my condo cannot be put back on the market. So not only am I paying my mortgage while no one is living in it -- the condo is not even being listed -- ALL THIS on a loan that hasn't been approved!

Why are these mean people fucking with our 5 year plan?
