The First Walk

Believe it or not we got up and actually went on that walk this morning! I, of course, would not have gotten up if Eric hadn't made me. Once I was up I was on a roll, strolling through Cameron Station like a bull dozer on a mission. Eric and Lady hung back about 15 paces -- waking up slowly. We grabbed some coffee, at the yuppie coffee shop, and circled around the neighborhood until finally settling home around 7:10am.

I felt jazzed!

Post walk the shower felt SO NICE and I was filled with fresh air. As I said, I felt jazzed, until I got in the car and sat down for a minute. Then my jazz plummeted to a sleepy stoned feeling. DOWN....DOWn.....DOwn.....Down.....down....down...down..... I went until I was forced to pull over at Dunkin doughnuts for cup of coffee #2.

The coffee gave me a boost. I dropped off my car at the shop for an oil change & inspection with the plan to walk the 10 or 12 blocks to my office. (I've gotta say my ass hurts from all this quick walking.) Now, as I sit at my desk, my eyelids are heavy, my cheeks are inching towards the service of my desk, my brain wants to shut down, and my butt cheeks need a break.

Maybe we'll have to work up to morning sex.......

So, I'm dying to know---did you two walk today?? They say it takes 21 days to create a habit.
